The Good Shepherd
The Lord has been highlighting Psalm 23:1 to me: "The Lord is a my Shepherd, I have all that I need." The Lord is your Shepherd! In life we want to take control over every situation. We want our own outcomes and results, and of course, the results are good for our selves or mediocre. We have a hard time allowing someone to lead us. But I'm here to tell you my friend, that when we let Him control and lead, the restraints that we have, fall off.
He is saying, "I am a Helper". John 16:7, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. Allow Him to help. Don't do it by your own strength, it will come up short. I know that we have hard time receiving help, but this is a lie from the enemy. Receive His help and you will see the breakthrough that you so badly desire.
Partner with the Holy Ghost, don't resist Him. He is your Friend, not your foe. When you are speaking in your prayer language, remember, that is Him speaking through you. Jude 1:20, But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. If you don't have your language, ask! Ask Holy Ghost to give you His Language and OPEN YOUR MOUTH. Don't refrain. Fight those thoughts of, "This sounds so silly." Or, "Could this be me just making stuff up?" No, those are lies from the enemy. And fight through the sudden laziness or tiredness that comes over you. You have to fight by asking the Holy Spirit to deny your flesh and when He does, ignite yourself to get up and walk the house, walk the neighborhood whispering it. Whatever you need to do in order to activate that prayer language, DO IT!
The enemy doesn't want you to speak His language, so fight through. Fight that flesh that will lean into its own understanding and try to "explain its way out of it." Stop it. Just let it "blabber blah-blah-blah" out. Let it "goo-goo-ga-ga" out. It's going to sound like a child at first. 1 Corinthians 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things." Look, we are all children in the natural and children in the spirit, too. You have to mature at some point in your walk. Mature now and just let Him talk. You'll notice breakthroughs, you'll notice your strength is increased, you'll notice you are receiving that healing. You'll see a significant difference. And just don't stop at 15 minute windows, speak it all day. Grow in it. Preach it from the mountain tops.
When I am running, I whisper it or a talk it faintly. When I'm in stores, airports, especially planes, I just let Him speak. Quietly in a whisper, or a small voice that utters His utterances, but it shifts atmospheres. He moves on your behalf. Get out of the way, now and let God. Won't He do it? You're His child, so yes He will! Take note that His language through you could be the prophecy your soul is looking for. Allow it to flow out like smooth honey on toast.
I love you so much. If you need a prayer partner to come along side you to pray this in for you, I'll do it. May this be a blessing, not a harsh reminder. May this fill you with ignition, not darkness. May this fill your excitement to do what the Lord says, and not downgrade yourself. May this find you well, whole, and holy. May God provide the utterances from Heaven immediately so you are not playing games anymore. May this be your ticket to victory and overcoming!
Joyful Home Welcomes You! Come, sit, let me love on you!
